Terms of service.

The agreement between you and pyrovue when you use pyrovue.com. It is written to be read: short clauses, the real numbers from the plans, and no surprises. Effective 1 November 2026.

1.Who we are and what these terms cover

pyrovue is run by Yusuf Badar, in the United States. These terms cover pyrovue.com, the previews served on pyrovue.app and everything the site does for you.

They take effect on 1 November 2026. By creating an account or using pyrovue you agree to them. If you use pyrovue for a company or a team, you agree on its behalf too.

2.Your account

You need a real email address that you control. One person per account, and on Team one seat per person; sharing a sign-in is not allowed.

Keep your password and your signed-in devices safe. Settings lists every device signed in to your account and lets you sign any of them out.

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. We may refuse or close an account that breaks these terms.

3.What pyrovue does

pyrovue runs a repository you pick (a public one, or a private one of yours through your own GitHub access) in a temporary box on our machines, with a live preview, a terminal, a map of the code and a guided tour. A box with no viewer goes to sleep after 15 minutes on Hobby, 1 hour on Pro and 2 hours on Team. Its container is deleted 24 hours after it sleeps on Hobby and 7 days after it sleeps on Pro and Team. Its setup log, tour and Code Map stay until you delete the box.

pyrovue is not hosting. Previews are for looking at a repository, not for serving your users. We do not promise that any repository will run.

4.Acceptable use

Boxes run on shared machines, so a few things are out:

  • No cryptocurrency mining or other proof-of-work.
  • No scanning, flooding, probing or attacking other systems, other boxes or pyrovue's own hosts.
  • No trying to get out of the box or reach the host. If you find a way, tell us instead: the disclosure policy says how.
  • No proxies, tunnels, VPN exits or relays.
  • No malware, phishing, spam or illegal content.
  • No running or sharing code you have no right to run or share.
  • No getting round limits: several free accounts, faked usage, or share links used to dodge a private box.
  • No reselling access to pyrovue.
  • Follow GitHub's and GitLab's terms for the repositories you run.

A watchdog stops boxes that look like mining or runaway disk use at once, and every stop goes in your activity log. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

5.Your code and content

What is yours stays yours. You give us the licence needed to clone, run, show and transmit your repositories and the content in your boxes so that pyrovue can work for you, and nothing more.

Public boxes can be watched by anyone with the link. Before a setup log or note reaches anyone but you, pyrovue masks things that look like credentials. A working setup is saved as a recipe for that repository and replayed for the next person: the recipe holds commands only, never your account data.

Feedback you send us may be used freely.

6.Automated setup and Claude

pyrovue's own detector sets most repositories up without a model. When it is unsure, the Claude agent may do the setup, within your plan's monthly allowance: 3 setups on Hobby, 25 on Pro and 60 per seat on Team.

For that, the repository's file list, key files and command output are sent to Anthropic's API. Results can be wrong; check before you rely on them.

7.Plans, payment and cancellation

Hobby is free. Pro and Team are paid through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew until you cancel. The limits of each plan are the ones on the pricing page; they may change with notice.

Cancel in Settings, under Plan & usage. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Hobby. If a payment fails, you keep your plan for 7 days; after that the account moves to Hobby until a payment succeeds.

Refunds: ask within 14 days of a charge, from the email address on the account, and we grant them at our discretion. Price changes are emailed 30 days ahead. Prices exclude taxes.

8.Availability and changes

There is no uptime promise outside an Enterprise contract. pyrovue runs on limited capacity and may refuse new boxes, or stop running ones, for maintenance or abuse. Features may change or be withdrawn.

9.Ending the agreement

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Your boxes are removed and your record is deleted.

We may suspend or end an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, abuse or legal reasons. We tell you why when the law allows it.

10.Disclaimer

pyrovue is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The code you run belongs to its authors, not to us; we do not review it and are not responsible for what it does.

11.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for everything arising from these terms or from pyrovue is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Some laws do not allow these limits; where they apply, our liability is limited as far as they let it be.

12.Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you run and share through pyrovue. If someone makes a claim against us because of your use or your content, you cover the costs that come from it.

14.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.

If something goes wrong, talk to us first: email hello@pyrovue.com, and we try to settle it with you within 30 days before either side goes further.

15.Changes to these terms

We post changes here with a new effective date. Material changes are emailed to account holders 14 days ahead. Using pyrovue after a change takes effect is acceptance of the new terms.

16.Contact

hello@pyrovue.com, or the support page. We answer within 2 working days. The privacy policy says what we store and why.
